Notre-Dame Companion

Terms of Service

Terms for using Notre-Dame Companion and the broader My Travel Companion ecosystem.

1. Introduction. These Terms govern your use of Notre-Dame Companion and My Travel Companion services operated by FON Group, Inc., including digital travel guides, audio guides, map guides, itineraries, and selected reservation-assistance services.

2. Operator information. Operator: FON Group, Inc., a Delaware corporation. Mailing address: 2803 Philadelphia Pike, Suite B #1850, Claymont, DE 19703, United States. Contact: support@notredamecompanion.com.

3. Definitions. "Notre-Dame Companion," "we," "us," and "our" mean FON Group, Inc. operating this service. "Customer," "you," and "your" mean the person purchasing or using the service.

4. Description of the service. My Travel Companion services may provide digital travel guides, audio guides, map guides, itineraries, practical visit guidance, nearby recommendations, family-friendly guides, and selected reservation assistance where a product explicitly includes it. Notre-Dame Companion provides reservation assistance, digital companion content, practical visit guidance, audio/history guide content, nearby and interior route content, and email support.

5. Reservation-assistance service. You authorize our trained staff to submit the name, confirmed email address, telephone number, party size, and visit preferences you provide directly on the official Notre-Dame reservation website. Official availability and admission are controlled solely by the cathedral; no reservation, exact time, or admission is guaranteed. If successful, the official system sends its confirmation directly to your email. A second staff member may verify an internal screenshot of the completed process. We do not create, issue, resell, download, alter, or store the cathedral admission confirmation for new assistance orders. Homepage companion purchases are content-first products and do not promise a successful reservation; separate paid landing-page products may expressly include outcome-based assistance governed by the Refund Policy.

6. Digital companion content. Digital content may include web guide access, written guides, audio guide access, map guide access, itinerary content, practical visit guidance, interior or walking route content, nearby recommendations, and audio/history guide content depending on the product purchased. The audio guide is an independent, self-guided digital product used in the customer’s own phone browser; it is not Notre-Dame’s on-site audio-guide device and does not include a human guide or guided tour. Digital content may be delivered immediately after purchase.

7. Independence and non-affiliation. Notre-Dame Companion is an independent reservation-assistance and digital-guide service operated by FON Group, Inc. It is not affiliated with or authorised by Notre-Dame de Paris, the Diocese of Paris, or any public institution. Cathedral admission and optional official reservations are free. Your payment covers our assistance, self-guided digital companion, and support—not admission, priority entry, or special access. Official availability and admission remain controlled by the cathedral.

8. Attraction access and reservations. Attraction names are used descriptively to identify places covered by the guides. We are independent from listed attractions unless a page explicitly states otherwise. Notre-Dame cathedral admission and optional official reservations are free. We do not sell or issue admission or official reservations and do not provide priority entry or special access; our fee covers independent assistance, digital companion content, and support.

9. Customer authorization. You authorize FON Group, Inc. / Notre-Dame Companion to disclose and submit the customer information listed in clause 5 to the official Notre-Dame reservation system solely to perform the requested assistance. You confirm that you have authority to provide information for every visitor in the order.

10. Customer responsibilities. You are responsible for accurate email addresses, name, telephone number, visit date, time-of-day preference, and visitor count; checking every supplied inbox and spam folder; safeguarding each official confirmation; and following current cathedral instructions. Because the official site accepts no more than four visitors per email, parties of five or more are split into grouped reservations and must supply one distinct email address per group of up to four visitors. Orders are limited to twenty visitors.

11. Account/access. We may provide access through a web access page or account. You are responsible for keeping access details secure.

12. Prices and payment. Stripe currently processes checkout. Paddle may be used in the future as Merchant of Record or payment processor. We do not store card details.

13. Delivery. Digital guide, audio guide, map guide, itinerary, and companion content are made available immediately after payment. For a successful assisted reservation, delivery of the cathedral confirmation is performed by the official Notre-Dame system directly to the customer email; our access page records only the status of our assistance and is not the cathedral admission confirmation.

14. Refunds and cancellation. See our Refund Policy. Because digital content is delivered immediately, customer-requested cancellations, changes, mistakes in customer-supplied information, late arrival, no-shows, denied entry, device/connectivity problems, and venue changes or closures are generally non-refundable once performance begins. Failure to obtain an official reservation does not trigger a refund for a content-first homepage purchase. A 100% assistance-failure refund applies only where the purchased landing-page product expressly includes that outcome-based commitment. Duplicate or erroneous charges remain refundable. Mandatory legal rights and approved support discretion remain unaffected.

15. EU/consumer withdrawal and immediate digital delivery. At checkout, you expressly request immediate digital-content delivery and, where the selected product includes it, the immediate start of reservation assistance. You acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by applicable law, your withdrawal right may be lost or reduced once performance begins or digital content is supplied. This clause does not exclude mandatory consumer rights.

16. Acceptable use. Do not misuse the service, submit false information, interfere with systems, or use content outside personal visit planning.

17. Intellectual property. The website, text, design, digital companion content, and audio/history materials are owned by or licensed to FON Group, Inc. unless otherwise stated.

18. Third-party services. We use providers including Supabase, Vercel, Resend, Stripe, Cookiebot, Google, Meta, PostHog, Cloudflare, and Sentry as described in our Privacy Policy.

19. Availability and changes. We may update content, prices, packages, product access, and service operations. Venue availability, attraction rules, opening hours, closure days, ticketing rules, and cathedral or venue decisions are outside our control.

20. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for venue availability, attraction decisions, venue closures, late arrival, incorrect customer information, or events outside our reasonable control.

21. Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled.

22. Governing law. These Terms are governed by Delaware law, without limiting mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply.

23. Contact. Contact support@notredamecompanion.com for support, legal@notredamecompanion.com for legal matters, and refunds@notredamecompanion.com for refund requests.
